Fretronics Engineering Ltd is an innovative electronic design, manufacturing, and repair company specialising in professional audio equipment for the global music and live events industry.
Founded by Managing Director Olly Warner, the business began in 2016 while Olly was studying Electronics Engineering with Music at the University of Glasgow. After graduating in 2018, he transitioned the venture into a full-time sole trader business before incorporating Fretronics in 2022.
From its workshop in Glasgow, Fretronics has grown into a respected B2B provider, supplying major pro-audio brands, manufacturers, event companies, studios and internationally recognised artists. The company is an authorised warranty and repair centre for leading manufacturers including Fractal Audio Systems, Blackstar Amplification and Focusrite PLC.
The business has also developed specialist equipment for well-known touring bands such as Coldplay, IDLES and Slipknot, earning a strong reputation among live technicians and backline engineers for reliable, bespoke, small-scale manufacturing.
Fretronics is now transitioning from a primarily service-based operation to a product-led business, expanding its product range while continuing to support B2B repair clients.
